Wasn't Bush an unelected dictator too? Florida CHADS reing a bell? Hypocrisy by the GWOT (Global War on Terra) in furtherance of Operation Islamic Liberation i.e. OIL.
Anon: He was not complaining about them being "a bunch of illegitimate dictators" he was simply stating that they were not in a position to criticise Gadaffi when they themselves were guilty of committing the same crimes. Dictatorships exist and he knows that is a fact. His point is that we have no right to attack Libya on the grounds that Gadaffi is attacking his own people (with Arab backing or not) when other countries are doing the same thing and not being attacked for it. (Syria, Yemen and Bahrain for example.) His other point is that the real reason they are attacking Libya and not the others is because of our business interests there. (OIL)
London Muslim with a left of center political agenda but dont let that put you off.
I write about issues the mainstream Murdoch agenda ignores and more than happy to also take on the tiny minority of vociferous fruitcakes in my own community.
In addition I'm a long suffering supporter of QPR. So, a Muslim with a sense of humour
Unbelievable hypocrisy. How can he possibly complain about the arab league being a bunch of illegitimate dictators when he saluted saddam hussein!!
ReplyDeleteHow does know one else pick on this!!??
