London Imam facing death threats

Usama Hassan an Imam at Leyton Mosque in East London is under police protection following controversial comments he made about evolution and creation as well as stating he finds it permissable for women in Islam not to cover their hair.

Hassan has described those out to get him as "nutters" and this from a bloke who worked with the comedians at Qulliam although he now appears to have retracted his earlier statements.

LM tends to leave the scholarly stuff to scholars otherwise you end up with over a billion people around the world making up the faith & all that creationist jazz on the hoof. However, LM finds it unacceptable in this day and age and in a non Muslim country for any Muslim to believe they have the right to take the life of another Muslim.

I find this statement interesting on a couple of levels.
Would it make any difference to the rightness or wrongness of killing if this were happening in a Muslim country?
Is it wrong for a Muslim to take the life of another human being -- Muslim or non Muslim?

whether in a muslim country or not killing/ threats are wrong. Even if he attacked prophet mohamed and said un-islamic things about him.
