Shanna Bukhari seems to be generating a lively discussion amongst you regarding the merits of her participating in the Miss UK contest.
In view of the growing furore Shanna has given a TV interview to increasingly defend her role as a northern British Pakistani Muslim lass seeking to be possibly the first Muslim Miss Universe.
LM has already made my views clear and opposed Shanna previously stating she would promote beauty pageants to other Muslim girls which she now seems to have distanced herself from.
LM has to say given the silence from northern Pakistani men regarding sexual abuse by fellow northern British Pakistani Men I do find the hypocrisy and priorities of some utterly incomprehensible.
LM does not support so called beauty pageants or their promotion to other girls given the increasingly sexualised decadent and permissive society we live in. However, will I lose any sleep over Shanna wearing a bikini no of course not because as far as I'm concerned while I would prefer her to wear a Burkini frankly there are more important priorities for the Muslim community like Islamophobia and the revolution sweeping the Arab Muslim world.

Her behaviour is comprehensively dissected and rejected here:
ReplyDeletehttp://shannabukhari.blogspot.com/
It is more serious than you say. She wants to be a role model for other Muslim women, to get them to reject Islam's teaching that say against Bukhari's type of behaviour. This is like a 'stealth temptation'.
In its way she is more worrying than and creeping oppression. Google her name - hundreds of sites report her.
She maintains:
a. she is a Muslim
b. she is doing nothing wrong
c. she knows little about Islam
d. Islam does not apply in a non-Muslim state
e. other Muslim women should follow her
SHES IS FINEEEEEEEE
ReplyDeleteShe is a Pakistani Muslim woman, she probably sees her Pakistani muslim brothers drunk, buzzed out their heads, selling drugs, grooming semi-naked white girls (she probably wants the attention that they get). If they can go do things against Islam with no uproar why cant she???
ReplyDeleteFor someone who earlier proclaimed that s/he was concerned that this would get too much media attention so that "the story would run and run", why the f*** do you keep posting about it here? Do you really think that people do not see what a despicable hypocrite you are? There is no such thing as a "moderate Muslim": as you well know, being a "moderate Muslim" just means being a Muslim who does not strictly observe the strictures of Islamic subjugation (i.e. submit themselves 100% to "the Will of Allah" as laid out in the Qu'ran, hadith etc., without question) You are a hypocrite because, while posing as a reasoning, critical, moderate (as opposed to a radical, extremist, unthinking) Muslim, you keep posting about this girl in order to encourage a climate of hatred and condemnation against her, while claiming that you actually think that people should ignore it and not make a fuss about it (after all, Allah will punish her for eternity for this anyway, right?). If you really are more concerned about sexual abuse perpetrated by British Pakistani men, why is it that you post so many more pieces about this girl than about that? Given your transparent hypocrisy (and we all know that it's okay within Islam to act deceitfully, just so long as it's done in order to promote Islam), it's risible that you quote Orwell as the motto or your blog. I prefer those who wear their Islamism on their sleeves like Abu Hamsa and Anjem Choudary than those who pretend to be a friend of British society (when, again, as you know, the Qu'ran clearly states that being a genuine friend of any non-believer is strictly forbidden). But believe me, people are waking up to this, and will not be fooled by this kind of hypocritical duplicity.
ReplyDeleteShe craves the public eye.
ReplyDeleteShe sees herself as a role model for Muslim women.
She wants other Muslim women to follow her example.
She openly admits she is going against Islam and therefore she knowingly is encouraging other Muslim women to go against Islam.
That's why there is an uproar. It's all there:

A very pretty girl masha'allah but at the end of her day she is living her life as everyone is living theirs. I think everyone should leave her to it and stop trying to demoralise her because what you are doing in reality are just taken on sin upon yourself...especially when you are JUST SAT BEHIND A COMPUTER AND GETTING A BUZZ OUT OF making assumptions i.e, as an Anonymous above stated certain comments about what she might be like. I think that is disgusting.
ReplyDeleteThis is a subject that needs to be addressed and has arisen latley and thats why so many have something to say about it. Shannaa if you want to be satans prostitute go ahead but do not say you are a muslim cause your nothing but condoning what is false and so are you.Do not claim to be a muslim when you have clearly portrayed that you are anti Islam. By God if you were my sister my daughter, i would clearly disown you cause your not worth burning in hell for, you sad sadistic no hoper
ReplyDeleteWhat is disgusting is shanna, what she represents is disgussting. Would you parade your body an claim you are muslim? would you parade your mom, your sister, your daughter, well would you? would you?
ReplyDeleteI am a Catholic Conservative Christian. Do not believe in sex before Marriage etc etc. Now am I going to yell and threaten every other Christian girl who does not live by my standards. My job is to worry about my actions and how I will be judged by GOD not how everyone else is living and how I think they should live. So she happens to be a Muslim she does not represent all the Muslims in the world nor do I represent all the Christians. These haters need to take A Chill Pill.
ReplyDeleteshe is nice.and i think she is doing good job..
ReplyDeleteafter that every muslim girl should stand and 1 thing as i think that beauty is just only in Muslims...
