An MP from Indonesia's Islamic Prosperous Justice Party (PKS) Arifinto who promoted anti porn legislation has resigned after being caught watching Porn in Parliament on Friday ie Jummah.
The irony of course is the PKS played a leading role in the anti porn crackdown which led to Nazriel Ariel Irham being jailed for distributing sex videos on the Internet. Perhaps even more ironically Arifinto who admitted he was was looking at Porn on his tablet may have to face the very same legislation he was instrumental in supporting however, interestingly the PKS have ordered him to recite the Koran within 30 days which seems strange because why should reading the Koran be seen as a punishment.

politics this is what happens you see ;)
ReplyDeleteIf he wishes to watch porn then i don't see why he should be punished by being forced to read the Quran. If a religion or religious views need to be forced on to people, then is it really a religion at all, it's just a forced ideology by one person onto another. This is the problem with Sharia law too.
