The ONS has released data that shows over 9 Million British citizens are non white, in other words 1 in 6 of the population.
What fantastic news and how great it is to live in a country and in particular a city like London with so many different cultures, colours and religions. The contribution of all ethnic minorities over the years has made the UK a successful and diverse society with London being an amazing melting pot and frankly the best city in the world.
Naturally a growing population in a relatively small geographical island provides understandable pressures however, why cant in this global village people travel freely with reasonable not racist restrictions. Did you know that almost 7% of British citizens are expats living overseas while 1000 Brits leave blightly every day.
Immigration is good for a host of economic reasons and we have taught the English when it comes to cuisine there is more to life than Fish and Chips.

As a white British Muslim living abroad, I am also teaching the world that fish and chips is really pretty good, and that the Inglistanis invented curry..

Hang on a sec LM, what you're saying I AGREE with. London's a great city with so many different races and religions and cultures and on the whole everyone gets on really well.
ReplyDeleteSo how come in so many of your other articles you keep talking about the English as "racist" and full of "racist chavs"?? I thought you HATED this country but if you keep writing articles like this then I have respect for you. Yeah, we have problems, like every country, but the vast majority of people are fine and this is a great country with the freedoms and safety most countries can only dream of.

The best restaurant curry (sag lamb) I ever had was in Oxford. Best overall though right here at home with my tender ministrations.
I think you will find when Britain has turned brown, and is just like Africa, India, Pakistan, and probably the rest of europe, you will no longer want to live here, because the indigenous Brits make the UK, not the foreigners!
