Congratulations to Councillor Naveeda Ikram who has become the first Muslim woman Lord Mayor in the UK.
Ikram who was appointed as Lord Mayor in Bradford needs to also be congratulated for managing to successfully combine a family life with a political career particularly amongst all those peculiar Bradistan brothers.
Congratulations! Hope more muslims will enter the british politics.
