You're forgetting too, that many educated women from muslim families, tend to marry their educational & professional peers, i.e. the non-muslim men they meet in their work/social circles. Sometimes there are 'conversions of convenience' of course if the woman's family creates a fuss, but the more secular/non-practicing types don't really bother with religious status in choosing their partners/spouses.
ReplyDeleteIt's a noticeable trend that the muslim men in Britain (who as you mentioned have lower socioeconomic outcomes relative to the population) 'marry down' the social scale when they intermarry into the population, i.e. marrying lower, working class white women. On the other hand, when muslim/asian women intermarry with the population, they choose professional white men who can match them in terms of education & earning, or even better. Thus in terms of intermarriage and muslims in Britain, women 'marry up' the scale while men 'marry down.'
LM obviously is against freedom of choice, unless it's the Fordian version.

It's just common sense that when it comes to having kids, two strands of essentially the same type of DNA don't combine together correctly and have an incredibly high risk of mutation. I respect your religious beleifs, but please take this into consideration when creating a life.
