The Guardian have a revealing and very interesting article by Vikran Dodd about how the British State in the guise of Spooks specifically MI5 and Special Branch are targeting innocent Muslims to spy on the Muslim community.
LM is way beyond the point of using words like shocking to describe a situation when an innocent Muslim couple can be stopped by Spooks at an airport under the Terrorism Act 2000 to undergo a "normal check" and following intimate questioning asked to join the Secret Services. In this video Asif Ahmad describes how he was detained and asked to be a spy.
LM is not shocked because frankly this is life in modern Britain for innocent Muslims going about our everyday normal business to be treated like an enemy of the State. The treatment is appalling although as I say not surprising because in part the objective is to create a reaction and resentment by attempting to get Muslims to take the bait thus justifying the enormous wasted expense on security.
Take the issue of London 2012 and the huge security budget with all the secretive planning by the Met focusing on the Muslim community. Anyone with even the odd brain cell would realise that 2012 is taking place during Ramadan when we Muslims will be fasting so not even the dumbest Muslim donut would contemplate an outrage. However, with approaching £500 million being spent on security, overtime, new premises and uniforms for the State's security establishment why should the truth get in the way of shadowy figures using Muslims to continue to justify their existence.

ReplyDeleteIt's not just countless terror plots, an airport bombing in glasgow and 7/7 that emphatically demonstrate this is not the case, but also THIS BLOG, which claims to speak for ordinary Muslims.
If all muslims in this country are as unashamedly racist and anti-semitic as you, if all muslims are as eager to cast off any allegiance to the UK as you, and if all muslims are as ready to support figures such as George Galloway as you, then the problem is far more serious than anyone could have imagined.
