Almost two years to the day when LM wrote about a nasty vendetta by senior white male officers against Muslim Police Chief Ali Dizaei he has been freed from jail by the Court of Appeal who quashed his conviction for corruption charges.
Without wishing to rehash the arguments about the Dizaei case who does face a retrial lets hope the Police adopt the same tenacity in pursuing justice for Babar Ahmad or in the minds of senior white male officers at Scotland Yard is their one law for bent white coppers and another for innocent senior Muslim Police Commanders like Dizaei and Tariqque Ghaffar.
