The BBC are due to show a film on the life of Prophet Muhammad (pbuh)
Fantastic news, although cue the racist fruitcakes who will kick off about everything from Akeel Ahmad's Muslim plot to take over the BBC through to secularists having a pop at faith.
Apparently Al Jazeera's Rageh Omar is due to present the show so we should be in for a sympathetic and considered 3 part series rather than the usual Jane Corbin type BBC Panorama stitch up that we are usually served up with.

ReplyDeleteit was ok, 10 bits good 1 bit bad. implying that he SAAS could read and write and probably wrote the Quran hinmself when lots of non muslim reports say he couldnt. Plus God says in the quran if this is man-made re-create a verse like it and no-one has been able to in 1400 yrs. it was a bit argumentative rather than showing the religion itself and wht muslims believe.

She was 15 or 16 when they got married and how old was Virgin mary when she had Jesus? it was a different time, ppl died younger and they married younger but Aisha RA was not 9 - that was one report by one bloke who lived in Iraq (miles away from Mecca) and he even said in the report, im not sure of her age. Even the Prophet SAAS' enemies didnt challenge the fact that his wife was 15/16 when they married yet they tried to attack everything he did to discredit him, they didnt comment on this marriage bcz there was nothing out of the ordinary about it, she was of legal marriage age and she married with her own consent
the program is full of false information,it has so much negative stuff inside it , like , the satanic verse that was demolished ages ago , and the part where he said the prophet got humiliated after asking a proposal to his uncle ,
