Islamic Society of Britian calls on Muslims to integrate

The new President of the Islamic Society of Britain has raised the issue of establishing a British Islam or European Islam in order to intergrate more smoothly into western socities and cultures.

Dilawar Hussain talks about the similarity between both Christianity and Islam being established in the Middle East and appears to insist there is no reason why if Christianity can be considered as English as Fish and Chips then why not Islam.

LM fears Mr Hussian seems to be confusing religion in its own right with the media's portrayal about various faiths. As Muslims we of course accept some similarity between Christianity and Islam as well as Judaism which also was established in the Middle East. However, the difference is while Islam accepts and specifically recognises the other 2 Abrahamic Faiths they do not recognise Islam. As a result, this allows their attack dogs like the Jewish extremist Richard Desmond to declare open season on Islam and Muslims as the "other" which is why the onus should be on Christians and Jews to acknowledge the similarity thus ensuring their media outlets follow suit. In order to integrate it helps if you are accepted as equals not inferiors.
