Lord Ahmed blames arranged marriages for Pakistani sexual abuse cases

LM has mentioned a number of shocking sexual abuse cases carried out by northern men of Pakistani heritage some even involving Pakistani Imams which Jack Straw also controversially highlighted.

Following the growing number of appalling cases involving Pakistani's from northern towns, LM partly laid some of the blame at Northern Mosques run by illiterate Pakistanis. However, Lord Ahmed in an interesting contribution has blamed unhappy arranged marriages for abuse by some Pakistanis in particular Cousin Marriages.

LM has written a number of articles outlining my opposition to cousin marriages in this day and age here, here and here which is why I support restrictions on foreign brides however, I did not, unlike Lord Ahmed make the connection between Pakistani sexual perverts, sexual abuse and arranged marriages, perhaps because of a lack of statistical evidence indicating the causation.

Nevertheless, Lord Ahmed has flagged up the challenge for Pakistani men growing up in a western sexualised society yet having a relationship that in their minds lacks the intimacy or sexuality they envisaged about marriage.

Reality bites after the wedding ceremony and the guests have gone home, the music is turned off and the dancing stops when the Pakistani wife realises she has swapped the love and lifestyle in Pakistan with the dump in Bradistan and a rather suffocating extended family along with the mother in law so she reacts against her mummy's boy of a husband.

Alternatively, when the husband is questioned about being stuck in a kitchen or watching Bollywood movies and why he spends so much time with the boys he reacts and looks for the freedoms he was accustomed to perhaps at College or University where he drank and shagged his way to his hearts content.

Clearly one for the Sociologists however, I would not dismiss the suggestion by Ahmed out of hand and believe along with the responsibility of some Mosques between us we may jointly be hitting the nail on it's head.

Despite a recent healthy profit report the Murdoch empire seems to be suffering from a bit of a wobble over sexism and phone hacking allegations as well as a major attack on Fox's Glen Beck by American Rabbis.

However, imagine my surprise when LM reads a positive article by Sky News's Colin Brazier who urges Britain to meet Islam half way. Presumably this is one article that has not been cleared by Murdoch however, while welcoming Braziers view, I would disagree with the last para that calls for a Muslim with a hijab to be selling soap powder, how about a Muslim with a hijab reading the news or perhaps the weather rather than Naz?

Canada insults the UAE

LM has regularly highlighted how Canada's right wing pro Israel Govt under Stephen Harper needs to be challenged democratically by Canada's growing Muslim population.

However, ironically and perhaps via an unintended route it appears the UAE, after what Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan the UAE's Foreign Minister calls an "insult" have taken on the responsibility by aggressively using its economic and political clout following a dispute initially over landing rights at Toronto's Pearson Airport.

The dispute has escalated with the UAE correctly treating Canada's citizens like criminals over a visa spat and Canada's energy sector suffering considerably as the UAE tightens its economic squeeze on Canada's largest export market in the Middle East.

LM urges the UAE to continue its economic embargo on Canada given Harpers contempt for Muslims domestically and internationally however, sadly in what is a classic example of Muslim disunity while the UAE are doing the right thing, Morocco has just welcomed Harper and sent him packing with lucrative trade deals.

Hey who is single and lists his interests as founder of a Bapitst Church said he would do the same to Buddhist and Hindu's "because they don't worship the same God as us" although he would not walk out of a Catholic or Jewish prayer.

Hijab tip to the excellent Yasin Rahin who responded by regarding this as a "host who does not know how to treat a guest" but nevertheless still invited Cllr Hey to read a Christian prayer to Muslims. Personally LM would afford Hey the same courtesy he extended to the Imam and also walk out if this evangelical Muppet accepted the Invitation of reading a Christian prayer to Muslims.

Did the Philippines Military carry out a deadly Manila bomb blast?

LM has previously highlighted how the Philippines Supreme Court scuppered a peace deal that would have established an Independent Mindanao for Muslims so what a coincidence that a bomb blast is timed to perfection to coincide with new peace talks that have only recently been agreed and which the Philippines Catholic Military and Judiciary oppose.

Southern Thailand is facing a growing wave of Muslim Rohingya literally being washed up on boats as they flee appalling human rights abuses and persecution in Buddhist Myanmar formerly Burma.

The Muslim Rohingya of Myanmar who are denied citizenship, education, Govt jobs or membership of the Army have suffered persecution for decades at the hands of the repressive Military Junta and have seen thousands of their villages destroyed particularly in Eastern Burma resulting in huge waves of Muslim exiles fleeing into Bangladesh.

Sadly the appalling treatment is compounded when Muslims escape and arrive in Thailand a country who LM highlighted has its own Muslim insurgency and as a result the first thing Thai authorities do is send these poor people back to Myanmar and inevitably further abuse when they are not sabotaging their boats in international waters.

With evidence of genocide towards its other minorities, LM urges the international community and in particular the Muslim Ummah to help protect our fellow Muslim brothers and sisters and stop the oppression. Please contact your MPs and Govt's around the world to establish what if any pressure they can bring to bear on both Myanmar and Thailand to stop the abuse of Muslims while also ensuring the culprits face justice.

Is Islam Channel's CEO Mohamed Ali set to be the new PM of Tunisia?

The outstanding CEO of the Islam Channel Mohamed Ali is set to play a significant role in the democracy movement that is sweeping Tunisia given his role as Sec General of Tunisia's Islamic Front.

What LM finds interesting about the removal of the dictator Ben Ali is everyone appears to have overlooked how Mohamed Ali was hounded by the dictator Ali which led to Interpol issuing a ridiculous arrest warrant.

Guess who made a major issue of the arrest warrant, that's right once again the Israelite scum Edward Jeory who tried to use the warrant to discredit Ali with a headline about "Boris's terror link" which now all reasonable folk will concede was actually a badge of honour to have been wanted by the dictator Ben Ali.

Unlike Jeory a supporter of racist lying cheat Phil Woolas, LM was as usual on the ball when I described almost a year ago the Interpol arrest warrant being a result of  "the usual trumped up charges by the dictatorship in Tunisia".

Selfishly while LM wishes the best for Tunisia, I'd much prefer Mohamed Ali in London heading the Islam Channel rather than leaving it in the hands of the hapless Carl Arrindel whose role as head of strategy and Current Affairs is increasingly being called into question.

Ken Livingstone's Team 2012 omits Muslims

Ross Lydall writes a revealing article about Ken Livingstone's new campaign team for the 2012 London Mayoral Election. What LM finds disappointing is the lack of any Muslims in the team for an election which has an enormous Muslim constituency of well over 1 million votes.

The article highlights yesterday's story about Lee Jasper and the role Jennette Arnold is alleged to have played in sidelining Jasper. Arnold is the token Labour black face on the London Assembly along with Murad Qureshi being the token "Muslim" who does not practice Islam or pray however, Qureshi's major advantage is he does not rock the boat or threaten the white establishment.

London Labour are past masters at playing different ethnic communities against each other and regularly have old black members of the party sitting on disciplinary panels against Muslim pillars of the community although the likes of Arnold and Quershi do exactly what they are told unlike the excellent Christine Shawcroft who refused to support the suspension of Lutfur Rahman from the Party.

Simon Flethcher Ken's CEO must avoid relying on the advice of the discredited Murad Querishi or old timers at Mosques that increasingly are seen as out of touch by Muslim youth and in some instances a handshake or photo opp with some Muslim charlatans who run Mosques could be counter productive. In addition, the MCB has become a joke and simply a vehicle for a few Pakistanis and Bangladeshis to indulge their self importance.

What Ken requires is someone like the Islam Channel's CEO Mohamed Ali who is considered authentic and respected within the Muslim community, is feared by the Israelites and is strategic/coordinated, understands the vibrant and diverse nature of the London Muslim community along with what buttons to push in order to get out the vote. In addition to Mohamed Ali, Team Ken should be guided by those London MPs who against the odds defeated their Tory opponents by mobilising the Muslim vote most notably Karen Buck, Andy Slaughter and Sadiq Khan.

Parasites like Gilligan and Israelites including the Jewish Chronicle, Harry's Place as well as the ghastly Muslim obsessed Edward Jeory a supporter of disgraced Phil Woolas will probably be lining up against Ken who in response requires not a media denial strategy providing authenticity to the Israelite attack dog narrative but alternatively a shift in strategy ensuring the Israelites take the bait. 

Ken's most effective leaflet at the last election was one produced by the MAB which listed a series of anti Islam quotes by Boris Johnson and had a significant impact within the London Muslim community. However, sadly it was too little too late and responsibility must be laid at the door of Redmond O Neil who only late in the campaign begun to realise the importance of the leaflet or the need to ensure high profile visits which sadly were never effectively coordinated with the specialist broadcast Muslim media.

Clearly Obama's technique of online and viral campaigning has set the benchmark however, Ken must not lose sight of the fact that the Muslim population unlike others is rapidly growing but we are a younger population and possibly less inclined to vote. As a result the need to target Muslim youth online both during the long and short campaign is vital. Aggressive targeted quotes from those Israelites who oppose Ken is exactly the tonic required to transform support into actually getting out the vote. Ironically Ken's biggest weapon will be the Israelites.

The political winds of change are blowing in London which ultimately will prove beneficial to Ken, the Evening Standard appear to be neutral on this occasion, Boris has made a mess of London's transport and Ken has tacitly acknowledged the need to also focus on outer London not just Zones 1 & 2. However, with the Lib Dem's set to be decimated in any future elections Ken must not take his eye off the ball with regard to the crucial Muslim vote. Muslims in 2012 will win London for Ken although he needs to acknowledge his current campaign team is not inclusive of appropriate Muslims and that needs to change forthwith in order to avoid snatching defeat from victory through taking the Muslim vote for granted.

Today her brother who attacked and assaulted her will be sentenced and LM hopes he goes down for a long time in order to deter Muslim male hypocrites who seem to think they can treat women with contempt when no Zina has been committed.

Dishonour crimes within the Muslim community

Two recent cases struck me about how Muslims deal with the issue of "honour" crime within the community.

The case of Pakistani woman who dropped rape charges against her husband following pressure from the family and the community seems a classic case of culture over common sense along with being a shocking way to treat such a serious offence against any woman. The husband is on the Sex register for other Sex offences.

However, take the example of Mohammad Al Hakim a Maradona lookalike who was stupid enough to threaten his cousin with death for deciding not to wear the Hijab a court heard. Notwithstanding the alleged death threats an interesting indication of his own devoutness and piety was how he proceeded to also call his cousins family "bitches and whores".

I'm not exactly sure what part of Islam Al Hakim seems to think justifies him using such language however my advice to him is perhaps he should spend more time worrying about his own appearance so a diet and a haircut seems to be in order.

A 12 year old American Muslim girl from Maryland was reduced to tears when she was refused permission to play the first half of a basketball game because the referee deemed her Hijab a "safety risk".

While common sense eventually prevailed and Maheen Haq was allowed to play in the second half LM notes the fantastic support provided by the other parents who were willing to pull their own daughters out of the game in solidarity with Haq.

Muslim charity in Canada facing corruption allegations

The Islamic Society of North America Canada (ISNA) has been rumbled following an audit that discovered its leader of Pakistani origin Mohammed Ashraf appears to have been pocketing hundreds of thousands of dollars in Zakat, charitable money destined for the poor and needy.

Sayeeda Warsi attacks the rise of Islamophobia in Britain

Sayeeda Warsi the Tory Party Chair will courageously condemn the rise of Islamophobia in the UK by saying it has passed the dinner table test to become socially acceptable.

LM completely agrees with Warsi who in my opinion is courageous because a significant amount of the prejudice comes from her Party's supporters. How refreshing to see a no nonsense fiery Muslim lass speaking her mind without fear or favour despite the enormous pressures she must face to conform or tone down support for Muslim causes which led to her being banned by David Cameron from attending the Islam Channel GPU.

LM is not a Tory but I salute Warsi who has achieved a remarkable political position for a Muslim woman that would have Enoch Powell and his fellow travellers in the Tory Monday Club appalled at uppity brown natives from the colonies laying it on the line to white racists. However, it should also be pointed out that other leading Tory women have also made sympathetic statements towards Muslims here and here.

How easy it would be for Warsi to simply immerse herself on the Tory Cucumber Sandwich circuit but she has pointedly asserted herself and used the newly acquired status not to distance herself from her Muslim roots but to defend the Niqab and attack the Nazi BNP on Question Time.

Warsi like Sadiq Khan has made mistakes here and here so LM attacked those mistakes but her learning curve appears to be steep and with enemies like "Andy" she provides an excellent contrast to the nutty bearded fruitcakes who denounce the West and democracy yet like the Munafiqeen (hypocrites) they are still live off western State handouts.

Sadly the English who LM wrote about are reverting to normal conduct by attacking anything they deem foreign, previously Jews, Catholics, Blacks now Muslims then the Chinese. Surprisingly my main angst is not so much the EDL who are the public face of racism and frankly we can deal with them confidently by defending our community here and here its those that should know better that acquiesce in small talk down the Pub or the like's of Martin Amis that really annoy me.

Russia to launch Muslim TV Channel

LM previously highlighted the significant number of Muslims who reside in Moscow with some estimates ranging from 1-2 million.

Why is the BBC glorifying anti Muslim prejudice?

Over the weekend LM decided to watch a bit of TV and see how the BBC were investing my licence fee money on programming.

Sadly what I found on BBC 2 during prime time viewing on Saturday was El Cid and on Sunday The Long Duel the former a movie about Muslims sadly being forced out of Spain and the latter a film about colonial exploits of the British Raj in North West province of India which is now Pakistan. Notice how the Radio Times describes Yul Brynner's character the Sultan as a "rebel" and "ranting" when in reality all he along with other Indians were doing were correctly attempting to free their country from British colonialists and occupiers.

LM is in no doubt that the BBC under Mark Thompson who married an Israelite has taken a considerable lurch to the right not just in its pro Israel news editorial output or current affairs programmes like Panorama but also across its entertainment schedule.

Unlike in the USA where leading CBS anchor Katie Couric has called for a Muslim Cosby Show here in the UK the BBC seems to be lurching further into the abyss by championing anti Muslim hysteria with programmes that show Muslims negatively and stereotypically as violent. Last week the BBC also showed Raiders of the Lost Ark which is widely acknowledged as portraying Arabs negatively. Should Malaysia's Muslims be allowed to work in Pubs?

There has been an outcry in reaction after a decision to ban Muslims in Malaysia from working in venues which serve Alcohol with supporters of the ban citing various hadith as evidence that it is unlawful for Muslims to sell liquor.

Following the response, the ban has been reversed however, it got me thinking all those Muslim brothers and Sisters working as cashiers at supermarkets are they behaving in a haram manner when for example at the counter checkout they sell Alcohol or non halal meat.

Australia has suffered some terrible recent natural disasters so its disappointing although not surprising to find the so called leadership of Australia's Muslim community squabbling about who really leads the community.

One would liked to think the immediate task and focus should be on for example helping to rebuild the city of Brisbane however, two Sheikhs have kicked off with an esoteric argument about who should be named the Grand Mufti of Australia.

Sadly and typically Sheikh Hilali has decided to throw in allegations of rising extremism amongst Australia's Muslim community in order to pursue his claim to the title of Grand Mufti. My advice to Sheikh Hilali is surely no title is so important that you end up defaming the entire Australian Muslim community simply to pursue your own narrow leadership aspirations.

Malaysia should stop discriminating against Shia Muslims

LM believes the current and increasingly hostile treatment by Malaysia's authorities towards its Shia minority is unacceptable and discriminatory.

Predictably the immediate sectarian reaction will revolve around suspicious accusations that LM is a Shia which I'm not.

This is an issue about a prosperous respectable and decent majority Muslim country being urged to treat all its minorities fairly. Sadly the Shia, because they split the faith have faced enormous hostility from the majority Sunni however, the irony is that in Malaysia they are now treated worse than non Muslims ie Hindus, Christians and Buddhists.

Peace talks have finally been agreed between Muslim freedom fighters known as the Moro Islamic Liberation Front (MILF) and the Philippines Government over a bloody long running campaign to create a independent Muslim state on Mindanao.

Nothing less than Independence for Muslim Mindanao will be acceptable for a people that have been exploited by largely Catholic Philippines because of the mineral rich resources on Mindanao.

Since the freedom uprising started which has never been given publicity in either the Muslim or Western media over 100,000 have died and what is equally shocking was that a peace deal had been agreed in 2008 before Philippines Supreme Court disgracefully outlawed the deal.

Lessons for Muslims as Debbie Abrahams wins in Oldham

Not surprisingly Debbie Abrahams has comfortably won the Old & Sad bye election with an increased majority. The Tory vote collapsed although to be fair their campaign was half hearted to say the least.

While the usual cabal of political white folk scribble about the implications for all parties from their various biased standpoints LM will try a stab at objectivity. Incidentally the right wing white male Israelite political scribblers always seem to remind me of the sad geeks at school who had a torrid time at the bike shed and yes I agree bullying is unacceptable.

LM wonders how Muslims must be feeling now that they in large part have sent Abrahams to Parliament. The previous MP Woolas was a a proven liar, racist and cheat so naturally New Labour gave him the position of Immigration Minister while their new MP is very mysterious and selected under rather dubious circumstances.

The lessons for Muslims are clear, the importance of political engagement where we Muslims cannot simply leave politics to white folk and expose ourselves to their chicanery as was witnessed in Old & Sad. The removal of Woolas should have resulted in Muslims beginning a recruitment drive to increase Muslim membership of the party thus being positioned strategically to decide who the candidate should have been. I don't doubt that Muslims would have divided amongst Pakistani's, Bangladeshi's etc and the end result may have been the same however, the NEC would have taken note of a large Muslim membership and may have selected Afzal Khan.

Politics is not a one off, first Woolas was removed, then Abrahams was selected and now elected. This is the time Muslims in Oldham need to be organised, coordinated and strategic keeping a close eye on Abrahams as an MP. The first few days are crucial who speaks to her and what postbag she has will determine in large part her conduct throughout this Parliament.

My advice to Oldham Muslims is watch out for her maiden speech will she mention the importance of Muslims in Oldham, what issues will she take up, what PQs will she ask, which countries will she first visit, who does she appoint as her paid staff, what EDM's does she sign and which journalists does she confide in. The importance of regularly keeping up a sustained examination surrounding her activities should be of paramount importance, come to London and ask to see her, write letters to her regularly on Muslim causes but crucially do not allow her any breathing space that leads her to believe she has done the hard work.

One tactic Isralites often use when elected is to pursue Pakistani and or Bangladeshi causes hoping this throws their Muslim constituents off the scent and hides their close ties to Israel. Lorna Fitzsimmons in Rochdale used this tactic classically by focusing on Kashmir thus hiding her links to Israel before she got a good political kicking. Stella Creasy in Walthamstow also uses a similar tactic but has not yet been exposed although LM is keeping a close watch. Politicians need to fear their electorates not the other way round so Oldham Muslims the ball is in your court and the next move is yours.

Islam and Christrianty are like two beams of light separate yet coming from the same source which Jones who clearly seems high on Alcohol and drugs should be focusing his efforts and energy on. Very interesting if slightly gushing interview of Sadiq Khan in GQ with one question asking why people love him in Tooting.

LM likes Sadiq although he has made a number of mistakes which I have highlighted here and here but then who hasn't. One senses the best of Sadiq is yet to come as he matures politically and perhaps begins to realise that rather than steer clear of Muslim issues/causes he will always be defined as a Muslim which he now seems to readily concede so why be defensive. Previously Sadiq has always seemed to be very defensive and as a result his request for Muslims to vote Labour has been rather insipid.

Leading Israelite Guido has regularly attacked Sadiq and when LM suggested that these articles are actually written by Sadiq's defeated Tory opponent Mark Clarke they got all precious contacting me and suggesting LM was being libellous. As a result as far as I am concerned you can judge a man by his enemies so with everyone from the Israelites through to the Ahmadis attacking him he will have my critical rather than fawning support.

Sadiq my advice to you is why feed a crocodile hoping it will eat you last. The Israelites will always come for you so ignore them and use your increasingly influential position within the Labour Party to further the interests of all decent working class folk including we Muslims. You supported Ken over the vile snake Oona King and Ed over David now champion the cause of Palestine within the Labour Party and establish yourself as a man of humanity and justice befitting your legal background.

A Pakistani Imam raped a poor young boy on numerous occasions while he attended a Mosque for Quran lessons in Stoke a court heard today. One should point out that the Imam has denied the charges of rape and the case continues.

Sadly Jack Straw has not commented on this case so should you have a trawl around the Muslim blogosphere you will find complete silence on yet another case involving a Pakistani Imam although British Pakistani reaction to this article will be why does LM mention his Pakistani heritage. Sadly rather than focus on the shocking and unspeakable crimes the Imam is alleged to have committed we will still have a community living in denial that there is a problem despite the growing evidence here and here.

LM has already been critical of Mohamad Shafiq who suggested Mosques should do more to eradicate grooming by young British Pakistani males. This case sadly, although yet to be proven simply highlights my point that some Mosques in the north run by Pakistani Imams are actually increasingly becoming part of the problem rather than solution.

The British Pakistani community needs to pull its finger out urgently before sadly Pakistani Imams begin to establish a reputation on a par with the sexual abuse committed by the Catholic priesthood. How many more kids are going to be sexually abused in of all places the House of Allah (swt) before we say enough is enough.

Katie Couric the CBS anchor who did a fantastic job exposing Sarah Palin's ignorance of foreign policy thinks what America needs to stop the bigotry towards Muslims is a Muslim version of the Cosby Show.

LM is not American so I cannot comment in detail about the impact Cosby had on changing attitudes towards African Americans however, the idea seems worthy of serious discussion. There is no doubt that Hollywood does have significant importance with regard to influencing opinion. Sadly more often than not with the likes of Stallone's Rambo and Spielberg movies coverage is negative in its portrayal of Muslims and Arabs as terrorists. Spielberg in particular who is Jewish has done a fantastic job in promoting Jewish issues through Schindlers list but he has also never missed an opportunity to show Muslims as ignorant particularly in his portrayal of Arabs in the Raiders of the lost Ark movie which simply reinforces prejudice.

However, the idea got me thinking about what impact a Muslim Coronation Street or Muslim Eastenders would have on changing attitudes towards Muslims and between Muslims here in the UK. Currently most soaps here in the UK have traditionally been centered around the Pub which Muslims do not attend so why not have a light entertainment show on perhaps the BBC about a Muslim family. C4 have started a show about a family who hail from Africa so why cant the likes of Akeel Ahmad consider promoting a Muslim family show on the BBC.

Should Mosques do more to stop sexual grooming

Mohamed Shafiq who seems to be running a courageous one man crusade to clean up the mess of sexual grooming within elements of northern British Pakistani culture has called for Mosques to help the Police in tackling this issue.

LM who up until now has agreed with Shafiq disagrees strongly with him on the role of Mosques and hopes his regular appearances on CNN and Al Jazeera is not going to his head. Some Pakistani run Mosques are not the solution as I've highlighted but in fact the problem where Quran teachers have sexually abused young Muslim kids. This a matter for the entire community and also wider society.

The ignorance and criminality of British Pakistanis up north is caused in part by a Pakistani mafia running some of the Mosques who emanate from villages and are entirely illiterate. Many British Pakistani Mosques are not run by the community but by families from illiterate villages in northern Pakistan.

Ironically few of these Pakistani Mosques are actually Halal because they were built on Riba/Interest which is haram and mentioned on 8 occasions in the Quran. Why are these buffoons so desperate to build a Mosque, because of the income and the realisation that without a Mosque all they would be doing is mini cabbing or working in a butchers. The Police have no interest until something goes seriously wrong because with cameras inside spying on Muslims they have grubby secret deals based on the discredited Prevent scheme and politicians have their vote bank of sheep. The money being raised on Friday collections is occasionally being sent back to Pakistan to fund property developments for extended family members and some Pakistani Imams disgracefully charge £500 claiming they will pray and perform miracles for sisters desperate to have a baby.

Some Pakistani Imams cant speak English or Arabic thus don't understand but simply recite the Quran like Mr Memory in 39 steps. The money taken by so called "Imams" to teach the Quran is all about recitation and nothing to do with understanding which ignores the basic Tajweed rules ie correct Arabic pronunciation. As a result vast sways of northern British Pakistanis do not enjoy or understand the Quran because they have learnt it from their local village goon. Eventually when these kids grow up they suddenly realise they have no real understanding of Islam because they were taught by a charlatan and then react, occasionally in an extreme manner which ultimately is a rebellion not against society but their families ignorant village mentality.

Ignoring momentarily the sexual grooming issue LM is not surprised that sick northern British Pakistanis from Leeds carried out the 7/7 atrocity and which areas did they target Edgware Road and Aldgate. Who lives in Edgware Road and Aldgate, yes that's right London Muslims, which presumably the scum knew about but still had no hesitation in carrying out their horrific atrocity. Incidentally, even if they carried out those atrocities in Non Muslim areas it was still entirely unacceptable.

Sadly the need to begin uncovering the unacceptable behaviour of northern run Pakistani Mosques who refuse women any role in management committees is a taboo subject which until it's addressed by the Pakistani Muslim community and wider society will continue to result in young British Pakistani kids going off the rails.

Why is Labour's Debbie Abrahams refusing to engage Oldham's Muslims?

LM's regular readers will know I have continually highlighted the appalling behaviour and conduct of the Labour Party in Oldham.

Following the dismissal of racist liar and cheat Phil Woolas and bizarre selection of the mysterious Debbie Abraham's, we now have a situation where Abraham's has refused to engage the Muslim community and ignored requests to speak to Oldham Muslims at an event yesterday in Glodwick.

LM who has been fairly robust in my opinion about Oldham Muslims nevertheless congratulates them for pointedly questioning the Conservative/Lib Dem Candidates about Islamophobia and Palestine while requesting they ensure the wider Oldham Muslim community is alerted to the continued hostile attitude of Oldham Labour towards Muslim causes.

LM has highlighted Muslim congressman Keith Ellison's concerns about Peter King's McCarthyite campaign against Muslims but surely the shooting of Giffords by Jarred Lougner should at least as Jeff Stein argues lead to a rethink. While the word "Terrorist" seems to be reserved for Muslims only so this attempt at cold blooded murder by an avid reader of Mein Kampf gets carried out by a "fringe character" one would still nevertheless like to think if the hearings continue, all radicalism is included within its terms of reference.

LM has been surprised that the growing public anti Jewish resentment from high profile Tea Party champions has met with relatively little coverage. When the circus act Anne Coulter called for Jews to be "perfected" or right wing extremist Glen Beck attacked Jewish billionaire George Soros for sending "Jews to the death camps" the inconsistency in coverage becomes glaring.

The Tea Party along with other Christian evangelicals like Coulter and Beck who use Jews for their wider Armageddon agenda in my opinion should also be summoned to appear at Peter King's Homeland Security hearings to provide a fair and balanced examination of the growing home grown radicalisation within America.

Noor Inayat Khan was a remarkable Indian Muslim woman who joined the British to fight the Germans and was executed at Dachau concentration camp after she was captured by Nazi's and discovered to be one of Churchill's elite secret agents.

LM has continually highlighted how Muslims sacrificed their lives for the British but have always been overlooked. However, finally and not before time despite regularly being honoured in France as a true heroine Noor Khan is at last to be honoured by a bronze bust in London.

Khan who was tortured for over 10 months by the Gestapo refused to reveal any British secrets is so typical of the gallantry and bravery of Muslims that has been overlooked. Her last word before a Nazi put a gun to her head and pulled the trigger was "liberte". One often wonders how and why we can immediately recall the bravery of for example a Douglas Bader, or recall the story of Anne Frank and Schindler's list but if you are a Muslim and also died in a Nazi concentration camp your story simply gathers dust in a file on a shelf somewhere in Whitehall.

Did you know Jack Straw has a brother who was found guilty of sexual assault on a young girl aged 16 and as a result William Straw was placed on the Sex register.

Jack, perhaps an explanation is in order about your brother using a young white girl as "easy meat". LM finds a lot of our politicians deeply hypocritical however given his view regarding British Pakistani sex perverts one does have to say this really takes the biscuit.

Just back from my brief trip to Qatar and all the talk seems to be about Jack Straw's comments concerning the British Pakistani sex perverts in Derby. Not much mention though of Jack Straw having a brother on the Sex register.

I'm not surprised that Straw and the usual suspects who focus on negative Muslim stories are jumping on the right wing media bandwagon because there has been a wall of silence amongst British Pakistanis on this topic. As a result of the silence Nick Griffin and his Nazi BNP have been running with these stories for years. Why does it take Jack Straw to prompt the Muslim blogosphere to finally address this issue?

Unlike other Muslim blogs who sadly remained silent about sexual abuse amongst in particular British Pakistani's, LM has not been silent and last year highlighted not just the Derby perverts but also the Rochdale sex perverts along with how Pakistan is called Pornistan. In addition, unlike others, LM has shown that sexual abuse is increasingly becoming problematic amongst Pakistani "Imams" who have been abusing young British Pakistani children and in one case the abuse was going on while he was supposed to be teaching the Quran. Did you know one of the youngest convicted rapists in this country Bahal Khan is also a British Pakistani.

Why did LM  raise the issue and end up on the receiving end of criticism from British Pakistanis, because LM wanted action by British Pakistanis on the growing issue of sexual abuse rather than be prompted by the likes of the BNP and Jack Straw. Mohammad Shafiq of the Ramadan Foundation has also like LM been vociferous on this issue and is correct that sexual abuse may not be "ingrained " in the British Pakistani population but it's a growing problem that will not be solved by community silence or ridiculous defensiveness which is highlighted by the hostility I received and still get by continuing to highlight what these gangsters and perverts are doing.
