Racist Birmingham Lib Dem Councillor attacks Salma Yaqoob

Councillor Martin Mullaney a vicious Lib Dem Racist Councillor in Birmingham has been forced into giving a grovelling apology to the outstanding Salma Yaqoob for disgusting comments he made about her and Islam.

Mullaney said amongst other things that Salma Yaqoob supported stoning, suicide bombing and cutting off hands all because she refused to join in on a standing ovation to a British soldier who was receiving a bravery award for services in Afghanistan.

LM urges Muslims to take legal action and report white racists like Mullaney to the Police for clearly outrageous behaviour which is evidently an incitement to Religious hatred. The Lib Dems have refused to take disciplinary action so Muslims and Non Muslims for that matter should act by bringing these comments to the attention of the Police and a file be sent to the CPS for prosecution.

Shanna Bukhari seems to be generating a lively discussion amongst you regarding the merits of her participating in the Miss UK contest.

In view of  the growing furore Shanna has given a TV interview to increasingly defend her role as a northern British Pakistani Muslim lass seeking to be possibly the first Muslim Miss Universe.

LM has already made my views clear and opposed Shanna previously stating she would promote beauty pageants to other Muslim girls which she now seems to have distanced herself from.

LM has to say given the silence from northern Pakistani men regarding sexual abuse by fellow northern British Pakistani Men I do find the hypocrisy and priorities of some utterly incomprehensible.

LM does not support so called beauty pageants or their promotion to other girls given the increasingly sexualised decadent and permissive society we live in. However, will I lose any sleep over Shanna wearing a bikini no of course not because as far as I'm concerned while I would prefer her to wear a Burkini frankly there are more important priorities for the Muslim community like Islamophobia and the revolution sweeping the Arab Muslim world.

Labour Friends of Palestine & the Middle East

The Labour Friends of Palestine & the Middle East hold their Annual Parliamentary Reception in Parliament this evening with a new chair Rochdale MP Simon Danczuk.

Danczuk is an interesting choice because he provides a classic example of how Labour needs to change in order to reflects the interests of Muslim constituents and regain our trust after Iraq, Afghanistan and B£iar. Due to his close work with Muslims he regained Rochdale from the Lib Dems at the last election.

Previously Rochdale had a cunning Israelite in Lorna Fitzsimmons as its MP but given some outstanding campaigning work by MPACUK & Operation Muslim vote she was kicked out of office and now works for Israeli front organisation BICOM.

LFP have almost 100 Labour MPs signed up to its cause and they now must put their internal bickering behind them and unite under new leadership. The real battle is taking on the Israelites within the Labour Party and elsewhere so its time for LFP to focus on Parliamentary work highlighting the Palestinian cause rather than petty personal differences.

LM will be contacting my MP to establish if he will be attending and supporting LFPME however, I wonder how many other Muslims will be contacting their MP to establish if they support the objectives of the organisation.

British Soldier burns the Quran

A former British Soldier has admitted to a disgraceful and disgusting act of burning the Quran in Carlisle.

Apparently Andrew Ryan who not surprisingly is an EDL supporter with a previous conviction for racist abuse claimed his action was a direct response to the Muslim idiot who burned a Poppy on Remembrance Day.

LM has already shared my view on Poppy burners and in addition long before burning a Poppy became an issue I unequivocally stated my reasons why I would never a wear a Poppy.

However, whatever perceived provocation there may have been there is absolutely no justification whatsoever for this twat burning a Quran or any holy book for that matter. Personally I believe no punishment in this world regarding incitement to religious hatred will match the ultimate punishment in the hereafter that Ryan faces.

The EDL planning another riot this time in Blackburn?

The EDL Nazis appear to be planning another riot this time in Blackburn on April 2 where Muslims, Police and anyone else who gets in their way will probably be attacked like on virtually every other occasion when they march.

While Israel's supporters in the EDL carry out their usual mayhem and violence leading to a huge Police operation with all the associated costs for traders, LM wonders what Blackburn's large Pakistani Muslim population will be doing to protect their own community from Nazi scum.

US Congress to hold hearings on American Muslim Civil Rights

Democratic Senator Dick Durbin from Illinois has announced the US Congress is to hold its first hearings on the Civil Rights of American Muslims.

LM believes the Civil Rights of American Muslims would be a good thing if it actually existed however, sadly after the introduction of the so called Patriot Act, American Muslims have been treated like an Enemy of the State. However, to be fair to Senator Durban he is absolutely correct, with the spike in bigotry and hatred towards Muslims these hearings are long overdue and necessary.

Where does one start regarding the lack of respect for Muslims in America, how about the difficulty of flying while Muslim or perhaps this hate filled protest in Orange County not surprisingly organised by a Rabbi.

These Muslim Civil Rights hearings put into perspective the hate filled bile from Peter King's anti Muslim witch hunt. LM looks forward to the evidence which has to be irrefutable that American Christian and Jewish Extremists are peddling vile nasty hate directed at ordinary decent law abiding American Muslims. Who knows perhaps Katie Couric could be called to give evidence in view of her interesting suggestion to help combat anti Muslim hate.

Glenda Jackson MP is right to call Israelis Nazis

Glenda Jackson the Labour MP for Hampstead and Kilburn has been criticised by a few Israelites in her constituency who were throwing their bagels out of the pram because she called Israelis Nazis.

LM briefly went to Kiliburn during the election which was incredibly close as she finally won by only 42 votes. Today the House of Commons is set to vote on a Govt motion concerning air strikes in Libya with both front benches appearing to be in broad support for the UN Resolution.

I think it was Churchill who once dismissed the Indian demands for independence claiming they were not ready which begs the question given the current crisis in Libya are some Muslims not ready for nationhood.

LM has written about Libya previously and readily accepts I got Gaddaffi wrong but then so did the world community which is presumably why he has managed to cling onto power for over 40 years. 

In a complex region with injustice, hypocrisy and colonialism just a few western legacies LM believes it's high time we Muslims step up and readily accept our own responsibility for the chaos engulfing the Arab Muslim World.

Lets try and keep Libya simple, we have a situation where a Muslim tyrant is killing fellow Muslims and are presented with a case for Non Muslim white folk intervening militarily to prevent the slaughter of innocent Muslim civilians in Benghazi.

We do not have the Muslim equivalent of NATO although we do have the Arab League & the OIC whose gatherings are more like a film set from Carry on Up the Khyber rather than of any political or military value. As a result Muslim Regional powers like Egypt, Jordan, Syria or Turkey are completely silent while a fellow Muslim country becomes engulfed in chaos and violence.

Unlike Turkey who have expressed reservation and opposition to the Military intervention the other states are governed and ruled by autocracies where family business building rather than nation building are the priority. Mubarak in Egypt, the House of Saud, The Khalifa's in Bahrain, Gaddafi in Libya, Saleh in Yemen, Assad in Syria, Ben Ali in Tunisia etc are/were all Muslim tyrants killing Muslims so who is left to protect defenceless Muslim civilians from a Muslim tyrant?

Muslims and Arabs have shown themselves unable or unwilling to protect innocent Muslim civilians. My simple principle is if your family were being killed by Muslims would you want non Muslims to protect and save you, of course you would. LM has spoken to a number of Egyptians recently who said if Mubarak was killing Egyptian Muslims they would have supported western military intervention in the absence of collective Muslim regional engagement to stop a human catastrophe.

LM respects the BRIC nations who abstained in the UNSC over entirely understandable and legitimate concerns regarding further western military intervention in the Muslim world. However, in the absence of collective regional Arab Muslim support for innocent Muslim civilians and given UN legal authority sadly LM finds myself supporting the white man's burden of resolving ultimately an Arab Muslim issue by removing Gaddafi rather than indiscriminately bombing Libya into the dark ages.

British Muslim Shanna Bukhari gets death threat over Miss Universe Contest

Shanna Bukhari the British Muslim hoping to represent GB in Miss Universe has claimed she received a death threat over her participation in the event.

LM made it clear on a number of occasions here and here my opposition is to beauty contests which are not a harmless bit of fun but whose purpose is titillating men. However, I also correctly said this would stir up a hornets nest and sadly with the death threat have proved to be right.

I'm not surprised in the slightest that some have shown their priorities by remaining silent over northern Pakistani sexual abuse cases but are more than happy to reveal their insecurity in kicking off about a beauty contest. Given the hypocrisy one thing you can be sure of is northern British Pakistani mosques will be deserted when the Beauty Contest is on while the men pack their wife's off to the outlaws.

In addition, with regard to Shanna who seems to have had a makeover, I disagreed with her previous comments about promoting the virtues of such pageants to other Muslim girls. Interestingly and rather revealing in her Guardian interview she now omits to mention this which if a change of heart is as far as I am concerned a welcome development for someone who will not be watching the event but also will not be ranting like the usual suspects in our community.

Muhammad Hanif Khan another northern British Pakistani sexual pervert has been jailed for 16 years after being found guilty of raping boys he was supposed to be teaching at a mosque.

These are just a handful of cases involving northern British Pakistani's here and here however, what's equally ominous is the number of Pakistani Imams here and here whose sexual abuse of young British Pakistani kids is clearly on the rise.

Lord Ahmad may be on to something when he blames first cousin marriages that northern British Pakistanis seem to specialise in despite genetic defects for the enormous rise in sexual abuse cases arising in that community.

Israel endorses the Saudi invasion of Bahrain

Israel's sadistic leader Netanyahu has in a wide ranging interview endorsed and provided Israel's wholehearted support for the Saudi invasion of Bahrain. Says it all really.

LM is becoming perplexed and worried about why my favourite Muslim country Malaysia is turning increasingly hostile towards Christians.

Having highlighted the bizarre and ridiculous nonsense of a Govt ban finally being lifted over Christian Bibles using the word Allah, a Malaysian Court has now banned a Christian lawyer from appearing in a Sharia Court.

Flying while Muslim is becoming an increasingly tiresome task particularly if you are going too or through American airspace.

The latest disgraceful and racist incident occurred when an American Muslim Irum Abbassi was escorted off a Southwest Airlines plane because a flight attendant thought she said during a phone conversation "it's a go" when all she said was "I have to go".

Just goes to show the level of hysteria in post 9/11 America generated by Peter King's anti Muslim hearings that a Muslim wearing a hijab is treated with suspicion when she has committed no crime.

While Southwest has apologised this is not the first and frankly wont be the last case of hysterical racist American attitudes towards Muslims which has affected even a former President of India. America seriously needs to reevaluate the mentality it has towards Muslims whose only crime appears to be we look different and some wear a hijab.

East London Gay Pride and The EDL link

The East London Gay Pride march called in response to stupid homophobic stickers seems to be in crisis following revelations by Gay Muslim group Imaan that some of the organisers are members of the EDL.

Peter Tatchel has pulled out and is right to call for the event to be postponed citing the true nature of the extreme agenda being peddled against Muslims. Interesting that no Muslim appears to have been caught putting up the stickers however, the moment they went up some Gay right wing extremists with links to the EDL were almost immediately organising a march. A Gay free zone sticker is a bit like the old Nuclear free zone stickers which after Chernobyl and now Japan seems equally stupid.

LM has written about Gay issues previously however, where is resident Muslim expert on Gay matters Lord Waheed Ali and what does he think of Gay right wing extremists stirring up hate towards Muslims. Moreover, why did it take a Muslim Gay group like Imaan to establish the anti Muslim extremist agenda behind the march which seems to indicate some Gays may have been aware but chose to overlook the Islamophobia within their midst.

Malaysia agrees to release Allah Bibles

LM previously highlighted the unholy row in Malaysia about the Govt's ridiculous attempt to stop Christians using the word "Allah" in their Bibles.

However, finally sense has prevailed as the Malaysian Govt have agreed to release 35,000 Bibles that use the word Allah which they disgracefully impounded.

I've already explained in detail that Christians during the period of Jahiliyah in Arabia along with even Pagans used to believe their God was "al--Lah" and used this word before Muslims. While I understand the issue of some active Christian missionaries attempting mischief with illiterate Muslim villagers should Christians wish to pray to Allah or refer to Allah in their Bibles that's fine with me.

Frankly I'm all for more people using the word Allah with respect and so struggle to establish what the Malaysian Govt are playing at given the enormous sensitivity and communal tensions that are being generated by this issue.

Saudi Arabia invades Bahrain

LM has been rather amused by the mainstream media's description concerning the Saudi invasion of Bahrain as a benevolent act to "stabilise the country" or as the BBC regularly mention "at the request" of the Khalifa Govt.

What utter nonsense by white men in suits like Simon Tisdale who have no understanding of Arab or Muslim culture. The impression that a polite request by the murderer Khalifa led to this invasion is a travesty of the truth. The reality is we have a Saudi invasion of a sovereign country which as the people of Bahrain have rightly described is a "declaration of war" and "occupation". Read the truth about what really is going on by the People of Bahrain and the opposition movement's Ibrahim Shariff from the largely secular Waad Party himself Sunni. Has anyone asked the protesters who are fighting for their freedom if they "requested" Saudi interference.

The perverts and sex maniacs in the House of Saud who are also on borrowed time, presumably with US encouragement are crapping themselves that Shia instability in Bahrain will lead across the Causeway to Saudi's Eastern province where the oil fields are. George Monibot sums up western hypocrisy to Saudi tyrants perfectly in this excellent article. The US are worried ultimately about their warm water port in Bahrain for the 5th fleet which provides perfect imperial justification for invading Bahrain.

How on earth can the hypocrites justify the Saudi invasion, naturally with words like "stability" and the invasion being "at the request" of the Bahrain Govt. In addition, notice how the BBC play up the sectarian card of a Shia population overthrowing a Sunni royal family when the protesters are from both communities. The word "violence" is being used to describe the freedom movement which was initially peaceful until Khalifa's Pakistani mercenaries opened fire on peaceful demonstrators. 

The next steps are inevitable given Iran's warning that the Saudi's invasion is "unacceptable". Saudi along with the US are desperate for Iran to take the bait and widen this conflict to provide a western cover for more American and British military involvement in the Gulf. Get ready for a massive anti Iran Murdoch blitz should Iran take the bait and protect its kith and kin.

The situation in Bahrain has rapidly deteriorated since my last post as the murdering Khalifa family now contemplate introducing martial law leading to Britons being warned against traveling to the tiny emirate.

With the focus on Japan, King Khalifa and his family of tyrants have been using the diverted media attention to brutally put down the freedom uprising using Pakistani mercenaries to shoot live rounds and fire at point blank range as this shocking video demonstrates.

The Khalifa's are so desperate to cling on to power they have now sought to enlist the Saudi army in their killing spree. While Pakistani mercenaries have proved useful up to a point given their specialism for blowing up Shia mosques in Pakistan, Bahrain's despots appear to prefer their Arab neighbours who are more skilled at mass murder given their treatment of the Shia minority in the East of Saudi.

My advice to the Barahin freedom movement is Saudi's army would struggle to liberate a Women's Institute meeting as their dirty war approach in Yemen demonstrated. Saudi paper tigers cannot fight their way out of a box of tissues so be firm and strong in your legitimate demand for freedom and political reform.

However, LM's position is clear and unequivocal don't engage in dialogue with a murderer like Khalifa overthrow him and his family of corrupt tyrants. The freedom movement that started on 14 Feb is a youth movement who like Egypt surprised not only the regime but also the opposition. While some like the Waad Party will urge dialogue my advice is that Hassan Mushaima and the Haq Party are the only future for Bahrain. 

The Khalifa despots will play on sectarian divides and the Iran card while ironically themselves using the sectarian card with their own Saudi and Pakistani Sunni mercenaries killing Bahraini's. There is no democracy or human rights in Bahrain with even US Defence Secretary Robert Gates ridiculing the "baby steps" on reform.

Islam fights tyranny and injustice. All Muslims feel a sacred duty to champion the weak and the oppressed which is why LM supports the jihad to topple and overthrow Bahrain's tyrants and despots.

LM was one of the first to break the news about Shanna Bukhari the Muslim beauty contestant from Rochdale who wants to represent Britain in Miss Universe.

Some commentators have pointed out my alleged hypocrisy in on the one hand telling the likes of reptilian creature Phillip Hollobone MP who wants to ban the Niqab to get the hell out of a Muslim Sisters wardrobe with my opposition to a beauty pageant.

LM sees no contradiction or inconsistency in my view. Surely all reasonable folk can see the distinction between ones normal and customary day to day cultural attire with a "beauty event" whose sole purpose is sexual gratification of men. My opposition is not ultimately focused on Shanna Bukhari but on a "beauty pageant" that seeks to sexually titillate men in an event that is decades past it's sell by date.

However, where I do take issue with Shanna is when she bizarrely states that she will seek to promote the virtues of beauty pageants to other Muslim girls. Sorry Shanna, frankly a choice between a career in medicine, law, Politics or the media etc I can understand but not your chosen career path. While LM can perhaps understand although not agree with the desperation about getting your kit off to escape the dump up north in Rochdale I don't think these events do anything to advance the cause of women both Muslim or non Muslim.

LM is no betting person however, if I were I would be tempted to place a small bet on some bright marketing sparks at the Miss Britain contest ensuring Shanna wins, thus making this story run and run.

Coca Cola contains alcohol

One of the world's most closely guarded secrets the ingredients that make up Coca Cola has finally been shown to contain alcohol with a very interesting report by Al Jazeera.

Despite the denials this is one Muslim who remains to be convinced that alcohol is not present particularly when the recipe is supposed to be secret so how can we be sure. In addition, considering another multinational giant Nestle revealed their halal sausages contain pork LM is increasingly becoming very concerned over the reliability and suitability about what we Muslims are eating and drinking.

LM accepts that as in non Muslim countries where we Muslims can eat for example Halal, likewise in Muslim countries the ability of Non Muslims to access alcohol should be available particularly for the expat community.

However, the provision of alcohol which is controlled although not banned largely to ensure "Muslim" politicians have their own steady supply is typical of the hypocrisy so prevalent across the Muslim Gulf.

LM has highlighted the scandal of the most expensive tree in the world being in Abu Dhabi however, the alcohol issue highlights yet another reason why these regimes are in such trouble with their own people. While economics and corruption do play pivotal roles in contributing to the Arab Muslim revolution the moral degeneration exemplified by the boom in alcohol sales is also an important contributory factor.

They have even wheeled out a few crooked scholars to claim demonstrations are un Islamic.

However, the Saud's also do subtlety so watch out for their different messages to suit their respective audiences. For their external audience Billionaire creep Prince Waleed hints at the reasonable side of the regime talking about easing banning restrictions on women driving. Wait for the Al Qaeeda stories desperately trying to mislead that once they are sent packing to their harems and Casinos Osama will be waiting in the wings. Sadly for them that's already been tried by Gaddafi and even in Egypt the Mubarak regime tried the Muslim Brotherhood card to no avail.

Susie posts a really interesting conversation with Mohamed Al-Qahtani a leading Saudi activist who outlines the people's desperation for change along with the injustice perpetrated by the Saud's. Al Qahtani correctly points out that trying to bribe the people with handouts will not work because the demand like elsewhere in the Arab world is for freedom.

The reason the Saudi perverts will fall is because of a perfect storm combining internal hatred towards the regime along with external indifference. Although the West needs its oil there is no appetite amongst western Christian Generals to have white christian soldiers dying on Muslims lands to prop up corrupt regimes albeit western client puppets. Singapore's Lee apologises for anti Muslim comments

Singapore's founding father Lee Kuan Yew has apologised for anti Muslim remarks he made in a book complaining about a lack of Muslim integration in Singapore.

Lee was correct to apologise for offending Singapore's Muslims almost 15% of the population in what he now accepts were "out of date" and in my opinion dangerous stereotypical views.

Muslims in Singapore have made enormous recent progress in education and employment along with seeing a rapidly reducing divorce rate according to Dr Yaccub Ibrahim Singapore's Minister in Charge of Muslim affairs.

LM is not in the least surprised that "Harry" has been strongly influenced by British culture and had an English education as a kid. I suggest "Harry" who appears to be going a bit senile spends more time on the golf course, being a bit more graceful in his retirement while perhaps ensuring his school of Public Policy has a course on Muslim contribution to Singapore.

Daily Star reporter resigns over "anti Muslim" coverage

LM has been following the amazing story of Richard Peppiatt a Daily Star Journalist who resigned from the paper in disgust at what he called its "anti Muslim" coverage. Peppiatt himself is now ironically on the receiving end of hate messages.

While following Peppiatt's amazing revelations which you can read in his resignation letter here what LM also finds strange is why the elephant in the room is always ignored ie Richard Desmond the owner of the paper a Jewish extremist who according to one of his own ex journalists has been inciting and stirring racial tensions towards Muslims.

LM has recently to sought to highlight the insidious role Jewish extremists are playing in contributing to the growing hysteria towards Muslims in Europe and the USA. Here and here LM has discussed Jewish extremist propaganda inflaming hate against Muslims yet the topic is almost always ignored.

I say almost always ignored because recently Roy Greenslade of the Guardian got into trouble when foolishly he said of Richard Desmond "as a Jew he may well have negative views of Muslims". Roy you are wrong it's not being a Jew that contributes to Desmond and his media empires anti Muslim hate its being a Jewish extremist. The sentence was hastily removed by the Guardian.

Nobody is making the connection and asking the simple question what is the ultimate agenda of these Jewish extremists and why are they being allowed to peddle dangerous Islamophobic hate. The Daily Express also owned by Desmond does the same and has Edward Jeory the vile rodent who also obsesses about Muslims as I've regularly highlighted here and here.

David Cameron says he will "never rest while the Jewish community is under threat" however, I continue to repeat that the Richard Peppiatt affair provides an excellent further example of how Muslims are under threat from Jewish extremists. I think its was the Jewish Chronicle who tweeted along the lines of "wow what a week" after the hate from Julian Assange, Galliano and Charlie Sheen etc. However, thanks to the likes of Richard Desmond we Muslims face that hate on a daily basis and what if anything is mainstream Jewish opinion doing to counter this poison. As Roy Greenslade correctly says Desmond "should remember what happened in those societies across Europe in the 1930s where Jewish minorities were demonised in the media for their religious beliefs".

LM believes that sadly it is Jewish extremists like Richard Desmond who are playing a dangerous game in stoking communal tensions towards Muslims. Should Desmond and his ilk be allowed to continue with the Muslim hate which all accept goes on then in the unlikely event of a communal war scenario LM believes responsibility will lie with those Jewish extremists who have already pulled the trigger.

London Imam facing death threats

Usama Hassan an Imam at Leyton Mosque in East London is under police protection following controversial comments he made about evolution and creation as well as stating he finds it permissable for women in Islam not to cover their hair.

Hassan has described those out to get him as "nutters" and this from a bloke who worked with the comedians at Qulliam although he now appears to have retracted his earlier statements.

LM tends to leave the scholarly stuff to scholars otherwise you end up with over a billion people around the world making up the faith & all that creationist jazz on the hoof. However, LM finds it unacceptable in this day and age and in a non Muslim country for any Muslim to believe they have the right to take the life of another Muslim.

Intolerant Indonesia?

LM has written a number of articles expressing my concern about the treatment by Muslims towards Indonesia's Christian minority here and here.

However, it is the treatment towards the Ahmadiyya that is increasingly also causing irreparable harm and tarnishing Indonesia's image of diversity and tolerance. A recent gruesome incident involving the murder of 3 Ahmadis who were stripped naked, beaten, then stoned to death was utterly disgusting and abhorrent. The reaction of the authorities bizarrely was to ship Ahmadis off to Lombok island rather than apprehend the murderers.

Lets be clear, although LM is no scholar Ahmadis are deviant from Islam because they disgracefully believe that Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) was shockingly not the final prophet. LM completely agrees with Hazrul Azwar that Ghulam Mirza is a fake prophet. However, as Christians have their David Korresh armageddon freaks why do we majority Muslims worry so much about our own deviants. Why are we so insecure, lets be more mature in our reaction. LM would prefer Ahmadis to form their own religion and not call themselves Muslims but ultimately they will be judged for their heresy although not in this world.

Indonesia's constitution guarantees freedom of religion and protection of minorities. While the Ahmadis are certainly not my cup of tea they are Indonesians and as a result should be protected by the full force of law rather than being treated like Hannibal Lecter in the Silence of the Lambs when he was offered Anthrax Island in return for a plea bargain.

Little white English boys traditionally grow up with their Action Man soldiers, so the image of these brave gallant warriors doing a Milk Tray and jumping off mountains is what they are inculcated with since childhood.

The fact we have an "elite unit" that now mirrors the Keystone Cops is frankly so typical of the decline of England as a backwater in Europe. Rather than gracefully accepting our new found role as a bunch of racist alcoholic chavs, we still have a few Eton toffs who think they can change the world through military intervention.

Robert Fisk writes an excellent article about how the revolution is finally spreading to Saudi Arabia a country he describes as "a hypocritical pseudo state, run by a company without shareholders called the House of Saud"

When "King" Abdullah returned from his harem in Morroco, an ironic destination given his disgusting view of Morrocan women, the first thing he did was to try and bribe Saudi's into supporting his family of sexual perverts and casino gamblers. The bribe did not work so immediately the House of Saud started to ban protests.

Is Oman's Sultan Qaboos a "classy despot"

Brian Whitaker describes Oman's Sultan Qaboos as a "classy despot".

LM has already expressed my view about Qaboos being a corrupt western puppet here and here. However, I urge Omani's to understand the nature of the protests revealed by Fergus Nicoll's excellent and fair reporting for the BBC here and here.

When LM refers to corruption I highlight the corrupt nature of a system that allows an absolute ruler to rule by decree in the absence of any democratic political parties. In addition, when any ruler allows his military to Kill innocent Omanis peacefully protesting in Sohar for constitutional change that is cold blooded murder carried out by a tyrant.

Finally all can surely agree one thing, there is no denial that corruption is rampant in Oman because the system allows for it. Omanis, some of whom are fond of their Sultan despite his role in the Dhoffar uprising surely must accept that democracy and constitutional change is the only way to prevent further protests and killings.

Asian Care Homes

Channel 4 have a revealing programme tonight at 7.30pm for viewers in the UK about Asian Care Homes.

There is a traditional view within the Asian community highlighted in this excellent article by Sarfraz Manzoor that some white people don't think twice about tossing their parents into a care home which they visit once a year perhaps at Xmas. LM has visited a number of Care Homes and they are stuffed full of old lonely white folk with the impression that their kids spend more time caring for pet animals and focusing on career.

Alternatively, most Asians consider it a moral obscenity to send an elderly and vulnerable parent to a care home considering how they raised us during a difficult racist time in this country for the first generation of Asian parents.

LM has never pulled my punches about northern Pakistanis being at the forefront of some ghastly sexual abuse cases. However, the programme is noteworthy for highlighting the still relative absence of elderly British Pakistanis compared to for example Indian Gujarati's who seem to increasingly have no problem sending their parents into a care home.

Although a difficult and increasingly complex issue the responsibility to family rather than spending time down the Pub does play a significant role in helping to remain focused about our attitude towards Parents and the elderly in general.

David Cameron: "I will never rest while Jewish Community under threat"

Our great leader Mr Cameron who seems very fond of speeches at the moment put on his black tie and turned up at the Jewish CST charity bash declaring "I will never rest while the Jewish Community is under threat". He also called himself "an advocate" for the racist apartheid state of Israel.

Good to hear your support for the Jewish community Dave, however why don't I hear you saying the same for the Black community or Muslim community or how about the white working class community? Don't we also get a mention in this brave new world of the Big Society?

Ok fair enough Cameron may have been playing to the gallery however, what LM finds slightly nauseating and rather ominous was that our PM could go to a Jewish bash where his speech was typically laced with implicit and not so subtle references to Muslims. One would be horrified if any politician went to a Muslim bash and slagged off Jews so why should Cameron be allowed to go to a Jewish bash and engage in yet another Islamophobic rant against Muslims with a speech that will be cheered to the rafters in any EDL pub of white racist chavs. How many in the audience were supporters of Geert Wilders.

Cameron said the biggest threat to the Jewish community comes from "Islamist extremism". What about the biggest threat to the Muslim community coming from Jewish extremism. "Antisemitism is abhorrent to me", good what about all form of racism including Islamophobia.

Cameron in the same sentence mentioned "terrorism", "Islamist realm" and "Sharia" in what frankly was a disgraceful racist attempt to conflate Islam with violence. Following Munich, Cameron is dangerously treading on sensitive ground when in order to appease his Jewish audience he uses Muslims as the scapegoat.

Another northern Pakistani teacher of the Quran at a Bolton Mosque has been in court facing allegations of assault towards kids.

The Court found him not guilty because as the Judge mentioned while he has to be satisfied beyond all reasonable doubt, in this case "I am left in doubt".

Will Oman be the next Egypt?

The BBC has an interesting report about the prospect of Oman turning into the next Egypt.

LM has already expressed my view about the corrupt western puppet Sultan Qaboos however, what is not well known is that a desperate economic package is secretly being organised by Saudi and Kuwait to prevent further protests in Oman spiralling like a domino into their backyard.

In Oman, following the violent disturbances in the Industrial city of Sohar the immediate reaction from Qaboos was to pathetically try and bribe his people with offers of jobs, money and a minor reshuffle. Why will the Sultan not listen to his people and legitimate peaceful demands from the likes of leading youth protester Khaled Maqbuli.

These absolute monarchs and tyrants just don't get it. Yes of course jobs and economic prosperity is one demand from the protesters however, fundamentally they will not be won over by just financial blackmail because the ultimate demand is also political reform.

A fatwa by the National Council of Islamic Religious affairs that has not been widely reported was reissued that bans surrogacy in Malaysia.

LM is no scholar although I struggle to understand the distinction between banning surrogacy yet accepting the permissibility of IVF. Surely their is an element of artificiality that distinguishes both forms of pregnancy from a natural childbirth. In addition, the irony is since the fatwa was issued surrogacy in Malaysia has rocketed so it clearly is not being enforced by the religious Police.

Shahbaz Bhatti Pakistan's Minorities Minister and a Christian has been shot dead for apparently challenging the Blasphemy law.

What can one say of a country and a People who seem so desperately insecure in their faith that the need to pick up a gun and murder someone with an opposing view is considered increasingly the norm.

A country founded as an Islamic Republic ironically by a gin swingeing western educated lawyer has descended into a dark abyss of murder, poverty and corruption. The murder of Salman Tasseer was bad enough but now Bhatti the only Christian in Pakistan's cabinet has gone.

Cue the real enemies of Islam as they prepare to denounce our faith as intolerant of religious minorities. Pakistan as a nation should be ashamed of what is has become, an economic and political basket case riven by intolerance, not just towards other minority faiths but also hatred between Muslims ie Shia and Sunni.

One can just imagine the topic of conversation should Assange be joined by Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, Mel Gibson and John Galliano down the local synagogue.

However, my concern is not those who obsess about a "Jewish conspiracy" but the growing evidence that Jewish extremists are out to get Muslims.

Have a look at the evidence of all the Jewish extremists who are peddling anti Muslim hate and you begin to wonder what it will take for Muslims to wake up to the fact that we are under attack and need to defend ourselves.

Evidence, well who inspires Gert Wilders, ever heard of a nasty American piece of work called Pamela Geller. How about another American character called David Yerushalmi, or ironically a Rabbi from the Simon Wiesanthal Center. What surely take's the biscuit is that the Jewish Task Force is too extreme for even the EDL.

LM has no interest in the "Jewish Conspiracy" nonsense or stories about Jews running this country with ominous comments urging Muslims to join a "common cause" against Jews. However, what I do want is a mature debate including mainstream Jewish opinion on what they are doing to combat the hate emanating from some Jewish extremists towards Muslims.
