George Galloway Crushes Labour's Imran Hussain in Bradford West (Breaking)

George Galloway has just crushed Labour's hapless candidate Imran Hussain in the Bradford West Bye Election with latest predictions he is set to get 50% of the vote. The message a loud strong anti war one.

LM blogged a few days ago that Imran Hussain made a fool of himself and we Muslims by bizarrely speaking the narrative of the Neo Cons and Pro Israel War hawks with his constant reference to eradicating "extremism". Galloway's eloquent retort was the biggest extremists were Bush and Blair which Hussain had no answer for. However, tellingly Galloway an old expert at politicking made the crucial point during the television debate that Imran Hussain's encouragement for Muslims to join the British Army in order to kill fellow Muslims in Afghanistan was "political suicide" and how right he was.

As soon as I saw and heard Hussain LM knew something was not right about the man. I'm not sure if he was part of the Sufi Muslim Council brigade but he was the wrong man with the wrong message at the wrong time for Muslims. Crucially while the idiots in the mosques urged a Labour vote the Muslim youth and in particular the Muslim female youth vote won 3 huge crucial Muslim wards for George.  LM offers a hijab tip to the Muslims up North in an area which I will now call Bradford once again and stop for ever calling it Bradistan.

as we speak, Imran Hussain is busy in the pub drinking away his sorrows.

  2. I'm always a little surprised at LM's apparent (correct me if I'm wrong) unequivocal support of Galloway.
How do Muslims square the circle of Islam's belief that gay sex is a sin with Galloway's voting in support of the equalisation of the age of consent for gay sex with heterosexual sex, for example? Or his voting in favour of unmarried and gay couples being allowed to adopt?
His Respect Party keeps its views on LGBT issues very quiet when canvassing in Muslim areas, doesn't it? (By the way - I think on this issue Galloway is totally RIGHT!)
And presumably you want your elected politicians to actually do some work instead of gallivanting around the world a la Blair? How about Galloway's record in Parliament, then? In 2005 he was placed 634th of 645 MPs – of the eleven MPs below him in the rankings, one was the former Prime Minister Tony Blair, five were Sinn Féin members who have an abstentionist policy toward taking their seats, three were the speaker and deputy speakers and therefore ineligible to vote, and two had died since the election.
I could go on (and on) about Galloway's dubious practices and questionable ethics. Can LM please sum up why he so whole-heartedly supports Respect/Galloway?

  3. The problem with George isn't his message its the messenger himself.

The Muslims of Bethanall Bow And Green sussed out George eventually; the Muslims of Bradford will as well - eventually. Till then its civil war amongst the tribes of Bradford.

  5. Great! Last thing we need. Whenever Palestine will get discussed in the House of Commons there will now be a bogeyman that will be the focus of attention

  6. Well Done LM, for the welcome pro-unity change on Bradford.

Some good points about the youth vote & our empowered Muslim females too!

Galloway is an old-fashioned man of the people & it shows. He has gone into the Lion's den in the US & did not back down.

The likes of so-called sour grapes "Spinoza" & its ilk are trying that old chestnut of "Divide & Rule". It won't work, as Galloway best represents the hearts & minds of the youth, the future, get used to it!

  7. Here's a prediction: it will emerge over the next few days that the Bradford West by-election was won by dubious electoral practices...

  9. Er - "best represents the hearts and minds of the people"?
    God help "the people" then.
I'm pretty sure "the people" of Syria wouldn't agree. Here's what Galloway had to say about Assad when the Arab spring started there: he expressed his admiration for Assad's "reforming zeal" and described the dictator as having "a vision of Syria as a genuine independent Arab country".
This is nor "sour grapes", Anonymous. It's reality. The man is barking.
He panders to the Muslims to get elected and they fall for it time and again.
    Please wake up.

  10. Spinoza, as opposed to pandering to knuckle dragging violent EDL white beasts? Sour grapes indeed. Galloway speaks the truth, a rarity amongst his kind. So what is the excuse of all the other western politicians in installing, supporting and copying up to dictators, not to mention pandering to Zionists?
    Stupid white hypocrite..

  11. It serves Labour right for putting forward a moron of a candidate simply because he was asian and muslim. It just shows you that it doesn't matter what faith or colour you are - if you don't address the needs of your electorate and just remain complacent, you will lose to the candidate that responds to the needs of the electorate. A better Labour candidate is needed next time who isn't a muppet or puppet.

  12. Of course it doesn't matter what skin colour or faith you are from. This is the reason the Labour candidate in question has been a staunch supporter of the previous Bradford West MP who is a Sikh, and the Majority of Bradford West Muslims have voted in Mr. Singh through three general elections. Labour's defeat in Bradford West had nothing to do with the Labour candidate but more to do with George Galloway using the Muslim Vote and Muslim sentiments to drum up support. I will only stop believing this the day George Galloway gets into Parliament with a majority white vote.

  13. George Galloway is a buffoon, he supported and voiced his admiration for Saddam Hussein. I suggest at the next election we all support Mr Black for Prime Minister and Anjem Choudary as Home Secretary. Stuart Parsons
