Saudi Princess Sara Bint Talal Al Saud Seeking Asylum In UK

Saudi Arabia's Princess Sara Bint Talal bin AbdulAziz Al Saud the Niece of Saudi King Abdullah is claiming political asylum in the UK.

Apparently when outlining her plight to the Torygraph she told them she was living in fear and her assets had been frozen after accusations she was working against the regime for Iran. Princess Sara who is a divorced mother of four says she is seeking asylum because her family are facing persecution in Saudi. According to the Mail she was assaulted persecuted and threatened. LM is not the brightest colour in the box however, if a niece to the King of Saudi faces persecution in the land of the Two Holy Mosques then what hope for the rest of us lesser mortals.

Saudi Princess's do seem to be having an interesting time of it at the moment. How can one forget the legend aka Princess Maha Al Sudairi and her difficulty over paying hotel expenses in Paris or how about the even stranger case of another Princess Sara this time Sara Al Amoudi whose interesting racy love life involved having a Swedish male model as a lover and beating up her chauffeur.

Clearly a rather troubled time in the House of Saud which seems to be in a bit of turmoil when it comes to the behaviour of the Princess's. However, and in order to ensure a fair and balanced coverage of the Sisters within the House of Saud, LM has already highlighted the exemplary behaviour of Princess Basma Bint Saud who courageously is calling for reform within Saudi.

**Update** Princess Sara outlines Plans to establish a Saudi Opposition Party.

  1. Why just focus on the indiscretions of the female members of the family?

How about shining as a spotlight on the male members and their misdeeds, e.g. the Saudi prince who allegedly murdered/beat his 'assistant' to death in a London hotel room.

  2. It was not surprising that she decided to seek asylum.
    But will she get it?
