Hi Jasmine - I'm a very laid-back chap and "let my hair down" on a regular basis by getting drunk and running naked round the giant oak tree on my Highland estate, but find the constant hi-jacking of sport (and football in particular) to show (off) one's religion pointless at best and otherwise potentially aggravating for those who don't share the participants' faith.
    Why, for example, cross yourself when you score a goal or run a good race? Are you seriously suggesting the Almighty has preferred you over the other participants? How arrogant do you have to be to think God gives a flying t*ss for your goal/win etc.?
    What does Nasri hope to achieve? Is this a form of dawah? If so it has NO place in a sports programme. It may well have put a smile on your face but that's because you are a Muslim. But what about the rest of us?
    I shall now paint myself blue and go back to my worship of Odin.

    Shut your dirty ass up fa88ot. This guy has the right to wish Eid Mubarak on the field. We do dawah wherever we want, don't watch it if you don't like it.
