  1. None of this would happen if Gaza started development- state or no state. Palestinians prefer victim status. Why haven't their rich Arab cousins provided money to help them build housing projects, work-living spaces, grow crops that provide industry? They would be able to build a "state" of the future.

  3. I think Israel is neccessary to the west as it causes instability in the region - and when there is instability there is no advancement or development - so that part of the world is always behind and or vulnerable in some way

    West can end poverty and war if is waS in their interest to do so - but poverty and war in certain parts of the world are good for free markets and security. Let your enemies fight eachother instead of you.

    Why should the Palestinians go begging for hand-outs from the rich arab states when they have their own land, currently illegally occupied by the zionists, that can more than provide for them. And for anyone who thinks that this will never happen and that Israel is here to stay, should learn from history. The Muslims lost Jerusalem once before to the murdering Crusaders. They lost it for nearly 200 years, and eventually got it back. How long has Israel occupied the land? Only 65 years. It's only a matter of time. And the way things are going, its gonna be sooner than we think.
