London Muslims Lets Do A Bradford And Ensure Ken Livingstone Is Elected Mayor

Bradford Muslims sent shockwaves through the British political establishment after they voted for a white male Catholic (George Galloway) ahead of a Muslim (Imran Hussain) and still got accused of being sectarian.

When you examine the viceral hatred and hostility from our mainstream pro Israeli corporate media towards Galloway only then can you begin to establish the fear and loathing those pro war Neo Con Hawks have towards anyone who challenges their twisted New World Order.

What do George Galloway and Ken Livingstone have in Common a sympathy towards the grievances that we Muslims have in terms of foreign wars and the systematic destruction of our civil liberties. In addition, they have a  loathing for the occupation of Palestine and a contempt for the Israel Lobby that has hijacked all main established political parties in this country.

Bradford Muslims have shown how if you have the right policies with the right candidate you can activate the Muslim base to come out in huge numbers. However, my focus is not so much on Political Parties or the Media, my emphasis is ensuring the Muslim community acknowledge and appreciate how our vote is the ultimate weapon of mass destruction that sends fear into the hearts of all those Israelites who have been having kittens since Galloway's election.

Bradford is the template which perfectly exemplifies how non sectarian we Muslims are by voting for a Non Muslim ahead of a Muslim thus illustrating the need for Politicians to address our concerns or face political oblivion.

While Jews in London have sent warnings to Ken Livingstone to change his pro Muslim views it is Bradford Muslims and inshallah we London Muslims that will fire the ultimate warning and send the Israelites into a tailspin. Bradford will be our catalyst and also a warning to you useless buffoons in the Mosques that have treated your own community with arrogance and contempt expecting us to follow your diktats.

The Muslim Youth have spoken, prove to us you will reflect and represent our interests and causes and we will reward you with the authority or is it power you politicians so desire. Increasingly gone are the days when we simply act like sheep and Labour politicians in "safe seats" weigh our votes. Immigration and visas are no longer the line in the sand issue for us as it was for the elder generation.

Demography and time is on our side along with technology as we understand social media, Twitter, and Text messaging which is the future of political campaigning. As our cohesiveness, unity and crucially political literacy improves we will confront our enemies with a weapon that our brothers and sisters are dying for in the Middle East, Democracy and the freedom to vote.

George Galloway Crushes Labour's Imran Hussain in Bradford West (Breaking)

George Galloway has just crushed Labour's hapless candidate Imran Hussain in the Bradford West Bye Election with latest predictions he is set to get 50% of the vote. The message a loud strong anti war one.

LM blogged a few days ago that Imran Hussain made a fool of himself and we Muslims by bizarrely speaking the narrative of the Neo Cons and Pro Israel War hawks with his constant reference to eradicating "extremism". Galloway's eloquent retort was the biggest extremists were Bush and Blair which Hussain had no answer for. However, tellingly Galloway an old expert at politicking made the crucial point during the television debate that Imran Hussain's encouragement for Muslims to join the British Army in order to kill fellow Muslims in Afghanistan was "political suicide" and how right he was.

As soon as I saw and heard Hussain LM knew something was not right about the man. I'm not sure if he was part of the Sufi Muslim Council brigade but he was the wrong man with the wrong message at the wrong time for Muslims. Crucially while the idiots in the mosques urged a Labour vote the Muslim youth and in particular the Muslim female youth vote won 3 huge crucial Muslim wards for George.  LM offers a hijab tip to the Muslims up North in an area which I will now call Bradford once again and stop for ever calling it Bradistan.

Muslim Sacked by Vodafone For Having a Beard

Shahid Saleem a Young Muslim brother from Croydon in Sarf London has been sacked by Vodafone for having a beard.

Fair play to Vodafone their HQ did apologise when they realised what the Manger at the Croydon store did although I fear a diversity training course is unlikely to eradicate his instinctive racist and beardist attitudes. Without the apology this blog would have been campaigning for a boycott of Vodafone.

Ken Livingstone and London's "Rich Jews"

Ken Livingstone appears to be taking flak over allegations he told a Jewish audience that "rich Jews" wont vote for him as Mayor of London.

LM is not so sure about the rightwing mainstream media reporting on this issue from outlets who have for decades disliked Ken and Muslims in equal measure. Steve Doughty in the Mail goes as far to say these remarks and those about Gays are a ploy to win the huge Muslim vote in London. Lets not forget this outrage towards Ken coincidentally also follows Ken's remarks at Finsbury Mosque saying he wants to turn London into a "beacon of Islam"

However, my focus is not so much on the predictable approach from the Gilligan's etc but more about the disappointing reaction from certain Jews. LM myself got into a minor spat on Twitter with Jonathan Freedland over his pathetic article arguing he would not vote Ken because Livingstone is "warm to some communities", in other words Muslims. Freedland immediately backtracked after my intervention claiming what he meant to say was Ken should be warm to all communities.

Take a closer look at the arguments from for example this JC article by Martin not so Bright or Freedland's or  others and you begin to appreciate the "Rich Jews" issue is a bit of a red herring and in reality there is a whole array of issues about Ken's support for Muslim causes that some not all Jews take exception too which is what disappoints me. My disappointment is that the bait is being taken, lets assume that Doughty in the Mail is correct should Jews be reacting or as I would advise be more cautious and guarded in their reaction which is not about ignoring Ken but avoiding the temperature being raised artificially.

Ken on Twitter was urged by me to tone his language down before this latest uproar however, he has himself been targeted by the British Board of Jews, who after the Jewish journalist episode and the Nazi concentration camp remark, took him to court to try and strip him of power which leaves an ugly taste in the mouth about any faith organisation trying to unseat a democratically elected politician.

LM wants Ken to win and will be on the streets urging the London Muslim vote to come out in force but what I don't want is a city torn apart by sectarian strife with Jews and Muslims increasingly looking suspiciously at each other. After France, if evidence was ever required the language needs to be toned down by Ken, Jews, Muslims and those of no faith. This great city has suffered tragedy at the hands of "Muslims" during 7/7 when Ken in a remarkable plea for tolerance used his office to urge all of us Londoner's to pull together. We need to see that Ken again.

Umrah 2012

LM as you may know has just returned from Umrah and over the coming weeks will be explaining my experience while in Mecca and Medina.

However, the first thing LM wanted to express was my gratitude at the amazing hospitality of ordinary Saudis. What an extraordinary level of courtesy, politeness and welcome which completely altered my perception of a country that I considered had and continues in part to exhibit aspects of arrogance.

LM realises that all those going on Umrah and Hajj will have their own experiences which may differ from mine however, while in Masjid Al Haram in Mecca I was astonished at the level of courtesy that was extended to we Hajis. Between Maghrib and Isha ordinary Saudis each day would come to the Masjid with food and Tea and before eating themselves offer it to us Hajis with a smile. Saudi have opened their country to millions of Muslims around the world and they do it with relatively little thanks but we are so quick to complain if our breakfast is late.

During my stay there was huge numbers of Turks for the first time as well as Iranians so it was interesting offering prayers with Shias who appear to have a different way of praying. So much more to write about but my first article had to be a huge thank you to Saudi Arabia and the ordinary people of Saudi from Security through to our fantastic Saudi cab driver in Medina who provided us with an amazing historical perspective particularly when we visited Mount Ohud.

Back From Umrah

LM has just returned from Umrah and is feeling amazing as well as spiritually uplifted.

Lots to write about regarding my experience both positive and negative in my usual no nonsense manner so this blog should be back to normal and in full throttle soon inshallah. All the comments that have been waiting for moderation have been approved and was only held up as a result of my travels with limited access to the net.
