Ken - Boris Muslim Hustings on Islam Channel

Islam Channel will be showing highlights of a Hustings between Ken and Boris tonight Monday 30 April @ 10pm.

The Hustings were held at Norton Rose in the City last week and will have specific questions on issues of direct concern to the Muslim community so be sure to tune in tonight.

The meeting was chaired by the cute Muslim sister Fatima Manji (Pictured) a journalist at Channel 4 and who I am led to believe posed some very pointed questions to the racist Boris about what he meant by saying "Islam is the Problem". Fatima is on Twitter so you can follow her here.

Co-op Boycotts Exports from Israel's Settlements in West Bank

The Co-op have taken a fantastic decision to ban all exports from Israel's settlements in the Occupied West Bank.

LM tweeted this yesterday and got a huge positive response so let me be one of the first to offer my congratulations to the Co-op for taking such a brave and ethical position.

I write this article after having just returned from shopping at my local Co-op and urge all decent caring and compassionate people to please stop shopping at Tesco and move to the Co-op.

Tory MP Philip Davies Stopped from Introducing Bill On Halal & Kosher

Philip Davies a Tory MP and well known racist had his pathetic attempt to introduce a bill labelling Halal and Kosher slaughter methods rejected by Parliament.

You can watch the debate here in full and how the fantastic orthodox Jewish MP Gerald Kauffman savaged Phillip Davies who is a miserable little creature. Although Davies tried to claim this Bill was not about banning Halal and Kosher the reality is this was frankly a back door attempt to indirectly introduce the same narrative on Halal and Kosher as the Nazi Dutch Govt.

LM made my views very clear about the Nazi Dutch attempt to ban Halal and Kosher and its no surprise that when Hitler came to power one of the first things he did was ban Kosher under the guise of animal welfare. LM could not fail to note although labelling Kosher was also part of the Bill Davies in his speech almost entirely singled out Halal.

The most interesting aspect of the debate was not the usual rag tag of right wing racist scum like reptile Phillip Hollobone MP who supported the Bill but the amazing cross section of MP's from different political spectrum's that opposed it. Sadly the Labour Whips were forcing frontbenchers not to vote because there was no agreed Labour Party view on this however despite that the likes of Sadiq Khan still went into the no lobby and as a result the bill was just defeated by 73-70. Interestingly Pro Muslim MP's like Richard Burden and Andy Slaughter were joined in the same lobbies by Jewish MP's like Louise Ellman and even Robert Halfon.

Did George Galloway Convert to Islam

According to Jemima Khan George Galloway converted to Islam before Galloway himself appeared to deny the story.

Whatever the truth Muslim or Non Muslim Galloway has politically done huge damage to the Israelites by showing we Muslims how political engagement is ultimately the only practical and tangible manner to advocate political change.

We all have our favourite Galloway performances most notably how George ripped apart the Israelites during congressional hearings or his recent performance in Bradford however, for LM the demolition job on Murdoch's peroxide Anna Botting when Israel invaded Lebanon and got a good "bloody hiding" was and remains fantastic TV.

Amnesty International Attack Anti Muslim Bias In Europe

Amnesty International have produced a report which shows Muslims who practise their faith are openly and overtly discriminated against across Europe.

The Report goes into detail by illustrating how Muslim women in particular are excluded from employment and education for simply wearing the Hijab. In addition, the growing threat by some European States to ban the Niqab has helped foster hysteria and prejudice towards Muslims.

LM's initial reaction was what took you so long Amnesty, however, on reflection while welcoming the report my overwhelming reaction is I'm not surprised that the Israelites who control our media and press have helped foster a bias towards Muslims which increasingly permeates the very fabric of European society. My fear is that when increasingly pushed against the wall European Muslims will sadly and wrongly take the bait by reacting  and then of course be condemned for the reaction rather than there being an understanding for the causes of our legitimate grievance.

Public Meeting on Jewish Islamophobia and Muslim AntiSemitism

Independent Jewish Voices will be holding a timely event tonight (next week) in Central London on anti Muslim attitudes in the Jewish community and and Anti Jewish feelings amongst Muslims.

LM will not be able to attend but I do think this meeting is an important first step in trying to get to grips with the growing mutual animosity between our two communities.

LM has regularly highlighted the role of Jewish extremists in America and here in the UK so if I attended I would be keen to establish why the extreme minority within the Jewish community appear to regularly outvoice the vast majority of mainstream Jewish opinion of fairness and tolerance towards others. It goes without saying, I am sure the Jewish audience attending will want similar answers about extreme Muslim attitudes towards Jews.

British Muslim Politician Lord Ahmed Offers Bounty On Obama & Bush

Lord Ahmed has been suspended from the Labour Party over comments he is alleged to have made regarding offering a £10m bounty for the capture of Obama and Bush here here and here.

Lets ignore the fact that Naz has denied making the comments here and here because that denies the Israelites their fun over this invented story. What next perhaps George Galloway officially being declared an outlaw by the State because he has just likened himself to Robin Hood. Naz the reason you have been suspended and why the Israelites are annoyed is simply because when it comes to a bounty that's what the Yanks do and clearly they get upset if anyone else has the audacity even via an invented story to mimick them.

LM is disappointed that Lord Naz does not get it, "targeted assassinations", Rendition, water boarding, offering a bounty and all other forms of torture or killings are only to be allowed for Yanks, Mossad, & MI6. The rest of us are supposed to sit quietly and wait for the drones and the real assassins to come knocking on our door. 

London University Set To Ban Alcohol Thanks To Muslim Students

London Metropolitan University is seriously considering banning alcohol from its campus thanks to Muslim students who account for 20% of the student population.

LM will not insult my readers intelligence about the evident harm Alcohol does in terms of liver damage, drink driving along with the general alcohol induced violence and carnage we see every Friday and weekend night however, if you need to establish the facts then Alcohol Concern is a good place to start.

My immediate reaction was one of amusement at the implicit attempt by the Mail above and the Torygraph who refer to "Conservative Muslim Students" to try and make this a typical onset of Sharia story with public executions next on the cards when in reality it is a serious and considered commonsense response about how to deal with alcohol abuse amongst a particularly vulnerable group, ie students.

Alcohol is a major killer but you can sense the difficulty for right wing journalists who presumably accept the dangers but don't want to praise fantastic Muslim students for being the salvation to all those largely non Muslim parents trembling at the prospect of having to send away little Tarquain or Rupert to Uni where he will make an immediate detour to the nearest student union bar for a drink induced session.

Ignoring the UK and International Muslim students who will be increasingly attracted to this Uni along with general teetotallers quite keen on having a quiet night in the dormitory, LM is curious at how many non Muslim parents will now be considering sending their kids to a Uni who take their children's welfare so seriously that they are willing to ban an age old dangerous tradition while taking flak from the Mail and Torygraph.

LM is no fan of useless Muslim students as I've made clear before however, on this occasion a hijab tip to all the brothers and sisters at London Met not just from LM but I'm sure from many parents up and down the country for helping to ensure London Met is genuinely appreciated as a worthy institution not just in terms of its academic credentials but also regarding a concern it has for the welfare of students.

The Muslim libertarian in me accepts there are two sides to a story and banning alcohol yes did lead to Al Capone and Prohibition. However, this is a proposed ban in a University which will be warmly welcomed not least by the Parents and crucially Police who should be keen about concentrating their efforts on serious criminality rather than having some vomit Muppet of a student in the back of their squad car.

Foul Mouthed Racist Boris Johnson Refusing to Debate Ken On Islam Channel

The London Mayoral elections are hotting up with latest polling indicating foul mouthed Racist Boris Johnson is pulling slightly ahead of Ken a few weeks before polling day on May 3.

Mehdi Hassan reminds us all why we Londoners need to vote for Ken however, LM wants to remind London Muslims about Boris Johnson. Remember when London was burning during the riots Boris, refused to cut short his holiday. Remember when Boris said "Islam was the problem" and that the Koran was "inherently violent". Remember when racist Boris described Black people as having "watermelon smiles". The answer of course is no you have forgotten because the usual right wing mainstream Pro Israeli corporate media want you to focus on what was said in a lift rather than the truth about Boris. Similarly you wont find any media coverage by Boris supporting Evening Standard or LBC about the lies Boris has told in West London but if you are interested read the excellent coverage by the Bush Blogger here and here.

Make no mistake Boris is a foul mouthed lying racist who has been carefully packaged to avoid saying anything that upsets black or Muslim people. He has been so carefully packaged that out of fright he may open his mouth and reveal the truth about his real feelings towards Muslims Boris is refusing to have a debate with Ken on the Islam Channel to address issues of concern to 1 million London Muslims. Boris is however going to be holding a debate for a few Tory Arabs in White City West London on Saturday 22 April.

The London Muslim vote is going to be crucial and we need to urge Muslims to remember what Boris Johnson said about Islam and the Quran. While there is tremendous support for Ken this has to translate into actual votes so turnout is vital along with issues like affordable housing and clean air which the mainstream media will ignore. Tell your mosques to increase the awareness of this election by raising it during Jummah prayers and lets do a Bradford by helping to overturn the odds through getting Ken elected to lead our great city of London again.

Luton Mosque Set on Fire

Bury Park Mosque in Luton was set on Fire in the early hours of the morning.

Police say they are keeping an "open mind" while they investigate which is perhaps fair enough of the Police but its unlikely Luton Muslims will be keeping an open mind given the EDL was formed in Luton.

LM urges Luton Muslims to allow the Police to carry out their investigations, remain calm and not jump to conclusion about the guilt of anyone at this stage. Lets hope the Police catch the scum who did this and pray community tension is not aggravated by those whose agenda is hatred and violence.
